Thursday October 1st….

Then, Elaine’s looking fantastic with striped fabric mitred in the border….

Pam brought some bags that she’s made recently…

And Maureen sent a photo of her “Turning 20” quilt via email…..

Tuesday September 29…..

This week’s first photo isn’t quilt related at all.  It’s of the dust storm that came thru Bell on the 23rd – taken out the front of the shop looking along the Bunya highway towards Dalby……normally, you can see paddocks of green in the distance….

Before we get on to quilts, here’s a photo from the Cooranga North Memorial Campdraft last weekend, taken from the announcer’s box.  (Cooranga North is about 30kms north of Bell.)

One last non-quilty photo……we went home the long way the other day and saw this huge goanna on his way up a tree.  He’d be about 5 feet long……

This week’s first quilt snap comes from Jeannie via email.  It’s a quilt based around the really cute little farm animal squares……

Then we’ve got Nancy’s mystery quilt….

And Ann’s mystery quilt with borders on now…..

Pam’s turning 20 quilt made with fat quarters that she got in the birthday fat quarter swap…

Lastly, my “Tumbling Blocks” that’s a sample for our class in November.  It’s made from really chunky strips – some 4” some 4.5” and comes together really quickly…..

Tuesday September 22nd……

We’ll start off this week with some “virtual” show-and-tell from Coral via email.  This is her mystery quilt top….Corals

Effie also brought in her mystery quilt…..

And her “Bargello Heart”……

And then the camera’s batteries went flat – sorry!  More to come next week………
