Today was “Blackford’s Beauty” block day and we caught up on a few others we’d missed.

Yesterday’s Show and Tell

Wow!  We had some great quilts and tops in for show and tell today.

First is Effie’s “Pinwheel Pirouette” quilt from a class last term…

Blackbird Pie Day – Saturday 9th of May

Our most recent class was making Kookaburra Cottage’s “Blackbird Pie” quilt.  It uses a layer cake and some really nifty templates to make “Drunkard’s Path” blocks arranged with a contemporary twist! This first one is Shelley’s :

To all you regular checkers of our blog, I’m sorry but am running a bit late with this post!!!

We all made “On the Fly” blocks for someone who’s having a “zero” birthday later this month….all with different brights on a white background….hope she likes them!
