Tuesday September 29…..

This week’s first photo isn’t quilt related at all.  It’s of the dust storm that came thru Bell on the 23rd – taken out the front of the shop looking along the Bunya highway towards Dalby……normally, you can see paddocks of green in the distance….

Before we get on to quilts, here’s a photo from the Cooranga North Memorial Campdraft last weekend, taken from the announcer’s box.  (Cooranga North is about 30kms north of Bell.)

One last non-quilty photo……we went home the long way the other day and saw this huge goanna on his way up a tree.  He’d be about 5 feet long……

This week’s first quilt snap comes from Jeannie via email.  It’s a quilt based around the really cute little farm animal squares……

Lastly, my “Tumbling Blocks” that’s a sample for our class in November.  It’s made from really chunky strips – some 4” some 4.5” and comes together really quickly…..
